Awareness Campaign from Zonuam Police Outpost

On Friday, 25 November, five representatives from Zonuam Police Outpost visited the school to present an awareness campaign about a variety of issues. In an entertaining and interactive presentation, all the students learnt about the importance of local police outposts and the correct procedure for reporting an offence by filing an FIR. Particular emphasis was placed on sexual offences with reference to the POCSO Act of 2012. The children were also reminded about road safety and traffic rules. It was a valuable campaign for the school and our local Zonuam community.

Community Service conducted on Friday 11 November

On Friday, 11 November, hundreds of students of Divine Intervention School took a break from their classes in order to serve the local Zonuam community by clearing the cemetery and its surrounding land which is on the other side of the road from the school. They cleared weeds and cleaned up the area so that it now looks very smart and is ready for future use by the YMA. After school hours, the hostellers also worked hard cleaning the school compound.
